Who we are.

Lifeline™ is where the best material science meets the most innovative health diagnostic technology. Our team are not just the best scientists and engineers, they use the products we help make. They have the highest standards to live up to — theirs.

“We aspire to provide athletes and officers with the two most important things they need after a traumatic injury: time and attention. Our hope is to dramatically reduce the effects of injury for millions of people, so they can get back to doing what they do best. Lifeline™ provides a unique set of science-based technologies that address impact protection, the cause and severity of injuries and the ability to call for help when needed.”

— William Farbman, Founder and CEO

  • Impact protection

Lifeline™ uses state of the art material science to stop injuries before they happen. With our partnership with science companies like D3O, we are able to create thin, flexible body armor that does not interfere with a person’s activity. Whether you are seeking protection for extreme sports like mountain biking or to enhance motorsport safety, it all starts with the best impact materials. This protection is also trusted by police and military forces in life or death situations.

  • Trauma-sensing technology

Integrated into the impact protection material are high tech medical sensors that instantly identify and record areas of medical concern in the event of traumatic injury. These sensors measure the force of impact, its location and take vital health readings to record swelling, increase in blood flow, temperature changes and indicate likelihood of deep muscle injury, fractures and contusions. This is critical information to allow medical practitioners to instantly diagnose the location and severity of injury.

  • Emergency alert technology

In extreme circumstances, time is the most critical factor to receiving life-saving treatment. Often, severe injury occurs in remote areas and sometimes leaves the patient unconscious or in shock. Paired with a smart device, like phones or connected wearables, Lifeline™ products are able to automatically send a call for help to first responders and transmit both the location of the patient and their condition. Lifeline™ also has backup communications if there is no commercial cellular coverage available.
